Tax Relief Update for May
On May 12, 2020, the Thai Revenue Department has launched a further extension of electronic tax filing (e-filing) for all businesses due to the COVID-19 situation. These tax relief measures will be applied on eligible tax month from March-August 2020, which we summarized as follows.

* The deadline of paper filing for VAT returns, specific business tax returns, withholding tax returns and self-assessed VAT returns for the tax month in March and April have been extended from normal filing date referring to Thailand Tax Notification of the Ministry of Finance (No.2) 2563 to extend filing tax returns and submitting payments as of 3 April 2020.
